City camping in Aarhus - a unique family campsite
DCU-Camping Blommehaven is located in the heart of Marselis woods just 5 km from the centre of Aarhus. In fact, it's one of Denmark's best located campsites, with direct access to the sea and it's own bathing beach and jetty. A unique family campsite.
Getting to the campsite from Aarhus
A word of advice! Bring your bike - the area is criss-crossed by a network of excellent cycle paths (bikes are also available to rent on site). City bus number 6 is just 10 minutes walk from the site and runs a daily service. The number 19 runs every weekend and bank holiday and on weekdays in the summer season.

DCU-Camping Blommehaven has three large service buildings including a family room. There's also a lovely big children's bathroom, where the needs of our younger guests are fully catered for. The campsite also features a sauna and solarium. At the western end of the campsite there's a kitchen with four sinks, a mini oven and 4 double gas hobs. On the beach side there's a kitchen with an eating area for tent dwellers.
At the campsite's mini-mart you can purchase the full range of day to day items at low prices. We also have our own on-site bakers so you can always get freshly-baked bread.

Please note:
DCU-Camping Blommehaven is a tourist campsite and has a total of 395 plots with stands - and only 3 plots for resident campers. We are only open to travelling guests staying for shorter periods.
